Ready to make someone’s dreams come true with this one.

As my life moves in different directions I have to make decisions that aren’t selfish for my animals and this is one of them!

Due to absolutely zero fault of his own, Pickles is up for discussion.

I just simply don’t have the time to trail ride like I used to, and while I enjoy showing him, it isn’t something I want to devote enough time to in order to justify him keeping him. Therefore, he sits in the pasture and I just can’t stomach that.

Pickles absolutely loves attention and to have a job. He is quite literally famous around here!

Pickles is right at 13.1 hands high, so he is on the smaller side and will require a rider my size, potentially a little bigger if you don’t ride with the packs that I do, or just plan on showing/pulling him.

He’s 6 years old and gelded with shoes on all 4 feet. Currently on a light shod package for show, I usually have drilltec on all 4’s if we’re trail riding. Stands for the farrier as long as they have an understanding of mules. He doesn’t respond to being pushed around well as most mules don’t. Not a mean bone in him. Pickles ties, pickets, ground ties on the trails in any terrain or location, crossties etc. He stands to be saddled.

Onto the fun stuff..

There quite literally isn’t anything you can’t do with this mule!!

He has done it all and seen it twice. Trail ride on anything from roads, rocks, extreme hills & climbs, stuff you wouldn’t even send your mother in law up or down he handles with ease and without question.

He’s very calculated with his feet and he won’t put you in a bad spot. He’s saved my tail and lots of other folks tails on the trails over and over again. Crosses water & will swim across water as well. Pickles is as trustworthy as they come and he has always made the right decisions in bad situations. He’s been around and sorted cows. Drug colts, other horses on trails etc. Fine with dogs, other horses etc. He carry’s a flag, doesn’t mind crowds, and is a fan favorite everywhere we have been. Great with dogs & other small animals as well. There is zero aggression in this guy. He hauls great, eats and drinks in new places and loves everyone he meets. He truly has character and a big heart.

Pickles has also tried his hand and won many blue ribbons in the show ring. He has won at Mule Days, fairs, open shows and recently was WC & 3x RWC @ the AMMA World Championship Mule and Donkey show. He truly just enjoys any job you give him and wants to do it well for you. He’s also recently been with a professional trainer for two months getting tuned up, so he is ready to go in whatever direction you want to take him in. I’ve had lots of other people ride him on trails and at shows no problem. He also rides double without batting an eye. I’ve rode him backwards about as long as I have front facing on trails as well. There is no spook in him. You set your hand down and smooch and you’re on your way.

I’m happy to answer any questions or have folks come out to see him/meet up to ride etc. This is an absolute once in a lifetime mule for someone and I know someone out there will be able to enjoy him much more than I currently have the time to. He resides in Petersburg TN & the dollar amount that takes him home is in the photos included.

Proxy Bidding:

Proxy bidding is an automatic bidding system that is great to use! Entering a proxy amount allows the system to automatically bid on your behalf. This keeps you from having to babysit the auction. It also protects your maximum bid by not displaying that amount until you are bid against. We advise entering your max bid especially if you will be away from your electronic device or in a poor service area at the end of the auction. To place a proxy, or automatic, bid simply enter the amount of your maximum bid into the Custom Bid box. This allows the system to automatically enter your next bid $100 above contending bidders until your maximum bid is met or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your maximum bid at any time without it displaying until you are bid against. If your maximum bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid.

Buy It Now:

If the bidding process is NOT for you, we offer a Buy It Now (BIN) option. This option allows you to purchase a horse immediately without waiting until the auction closes. The Buy It Now (BIN) option is available at the seller’s discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now option, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is selected, the auction will end immediately. At that time, the purchaser is responsible to make payment arrangements with Classic Horse Auction. You may either be invoiced or you may pay via credit card (a 4% processing fee will be added for all credit card transactions). The “Buy It Now” option will be removed prior to the close of the auction.

Final Minutes:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 5 minutes will be added to the clock. Time will extend for each new bid placed until 5 minutes has gone by with no new bids.

Technical Issues:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc.) within the last 10 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Hope Jenne (615-545-6488) within TEN MINUTES of the close of the auction.

Non Payment Fee:

Buyers are required to make payment by the close of business the following day. Purchasers who do not will be charged a $1,000 fee to the card on file. This also applies to purchasers using the Buy It Now option.
