HE’S BLUE SKY “JAXON”
16HH 8YO, REGISTERED TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE GELDING

Traffic Safe + Smooth Gait + Family Safe + Rides Alone + Sure Footed + Easy to Handle + Trail Experienced

*** AUCTION ONLY ***

Jaxon is an 8 year old, 16 hand blue roan Registered Tennessee Walking Horse. I purchased Jaxon when he was 2 1/2 years old at the last After Christmas Sale they used to hold every year at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. They have not held another sale there since because of Covid.

I had wanted a blue roan for 26 years, but I wanted one out of a certain bloodline. So, I looked and waited for 26 years. One day I got a text from one of my good friends with a picture of a beautiful blue roan. He told me the horse was going to be at that sale and that he was out of the bloodline I had been searching for, and that I had better go check him out.

Well, I did go to that sale and I did check him out, and I am sure you know what happened after that.

After the sale was over and we made it home with Jaxon, I pulled his registration papers out of my pickup to look at them and see when he would turn three years old. I was standing there in my robe looking at the papers when I noticed his foal date was June 24th. I thought to myself, June 24th, that is my birthday. I could not believe it. We actually share the same birthday. What are the odds of that?

Now you may be wondering how, after waiting 26 years for the right horse and discovering that we even share the same birthday, I could possibly part with him. Life has a way of changing your whole world, and it is not always in your favor. Because of life circumstances, I am now having to find my best friend a new hopefully forever home. I truly hope and pray that he finds someone who will love and cherish him as much as I have.

Jaxon has been to many horse camps between Florida and Ohio. He has stood on tie lines, been tied to bicycle racks, traveled along narrow cliffs, and crossed rivers that were 30 feet deep without hesitation.

This big guy really only has one fear that I have ever noticed, and it is his own shadow. When he sees his shadow on the trail he will crouch down like a tiger watching it. Other than that, I cannot think of anything that bothers him. He has been desensitized to just about everything. His good buddy at home is a pot belly pig, and it is funny to watch them play together.

Jaxon has a natural four beat gait that is as smooth as butter. He is not a speed horse, but that is fine with me because I enjoy trail riding more than speed. If someone wanted more speed that is something that could be developed over time.

For the first few years of owning Jaxon, he was ridden almost every weekend. He has not done as much camping or riding in the last year, but that has not affected him at all. He does not need a refresher or retraining. He is broke for riders of all levels. Whether someone is experienced or brand new to horses, Jaxon takes care of the rider on his back.

You could leave him in the pasture for a year, pull him out, saddle him up, and ride off like he had just been ridden the day before.

Jaxon has a very loving personality and always aims to please whoever is riding him. He is easy to work with, and when you are teaching him something new you will be amazed at how focused he is on you and how quickly he learns.

He may need a little more work on neck reining and side passing, but it will not take much at all to polish that up. Other than that, he is ready to saddle up and hit the trails and hopefully meet his new lifelong best friend.

I could go on and on telling you everything you might want to hear about Jaxon and how perfect he is, but the truth is there is no such thing as a perfect horse. They are just like people. They all make mistakes and have bad days sometimes. But the one thing I can promise you is that Jaxon will always do his best to keep the rider on his back safe.

He will go wherever you point his head and will back up straight as an arrow until you ask him to stop.

I do not teach my horses tricks just to impress someone into buying them. I am not a trainer or a horse trader. I simply have to sell my horse because of life circumstances, not because of anything related to him.

If you are truly interested in Jaxon, you are more than welcome to come stay at our farm and meet him in person. It is just my wife and me here and we have plenty of room for company. If you want to bring your horse trailer or camper we have plenty of space and power hookups available. If you prefer we also have a bedroom upstairs that you are welcome to use.

Our son, his wife, and their three daughters live next door, and our daughter and her son live just down the road. We are about three miles from Bear Creek Horse Camp. If you are interested, we can load up and go for a trail ride so you can meet Jaxon and see exactly what he is about.

But I will warn you, he is very addictive.

Thank you!

Proxy Bidding:

Proxy bidding is an automatic bidding system that is great to use! Entering a proxy amount allows the system to automatically bid on your behalf. This keeps you from having to babysit the auction. It also protects your maximum bid by not displaying that amount until you are bid against. We advise entering your max bid especially if you will be away from your electronic device or in a poor service area at the end of the auction. To place a proxy, or automatic, bid simply enter the amount of your maximum bid into the Custom Bid box. This allows the system to automatically enter your next bid $100 above contending bidders until your maximum bid is met or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your maximum bid at any time without it displaying until you are bid against. If your maximum bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid.

Buy It Now:

If the bidding process is NOT for you, we offer a Buy It Now (BIN) option. This option allows you to purchase a horse immediately without waiting until the auction closes. The Buy It Now (BIN) option is available at the seller’s discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now option, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is selected, the auction will end immediately. At that time, the purchaser is responsible to make payment arrangements with Classic Horse Auction. The “Buy It Now” option will be removed prior to the close of the auction.

Final Minutes:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 5 minutes will be added to the clock. Time will extend for each new bid placed until 5 minutes has gone by with no new bids.

Technical Issues:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc.) within the last 10 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Hope Jenne (615-545-6488) within TEN MINUTES of the close of the auction.

Non Payment Fee:
