+ SMOOTH GAITED + TRAIL DELUXE + TRAFFIC SAFE +  STANDS TO MOUNT + LOPES + LIBERTY + PARADE +

Everyone, meet Rockin’ Tennessee Again! Affectionately known as “T” his whole life, T is a 9 year old registered SSHBEA black and white tobiano gelding. T is 15.2 hands tall and wears keg shoes on all fours. He sports two blue eyes and has the body type and build that is stout enough to carry most riders with ease.

I will start by saying that I am only T’s THIRD owner in his lifetime. I have owned T for eight months. Over the course of the last eight months my wife and I have ridden T literally hundreds of miles. This is NOT a horse that I have ridden a handful of times and just presumed assumptions about, and this horse has NOT been through auctions. T has been through a rigorous program at my barn putting him to the test of so many things that allow me to fully stand behind and represent him today.

Most simply put, T possesses the “Golden Retriever” personality= Intelligent, Friendly, Reliable, Kind, Trustworthy, and Confident.

Intelligent– T is smart beyond belief. He is trained to side pass, neck rein, park out for mounting, lope off, step over to a mounting block with the snap of your finger, and manually open gates with the push of his nose.

Friendly– T loves attention and is gentle with both children and adults alike.

Reliable– On thirty acres of open field at my barn he has been easy to catch every single time without fail with the simple rattle of a bucket. I have turned T out to pasture for a couple weeks at a time, caught him, taken him straight to the trail and he rides unbelievably the same as if he had been ridden for hours the previous day. He is reliable enough to know that he will be as safe for you today as he will be next week, the following week, and months down the road.

Kind– T has a kind personality towards other horses. Whether while on the trail, at the barn, or in the trailer, T can rub noses or rear ends with another horse and not blink an eye.

Trustworthy– this is a rare exception of a horse that I trust to come out and ride consistently day in and day out. My wife and I place enough trust in T that she has trail ridden him while pregnant. While on a trail one day she and T encountered a herd of deer that jumped directly in their path and his demeanor never faltered, rather than snorting or spooking- he simply paused and waited for them to pass.

Confident– this is one of T’s best qualities. He is confident enough to step into any body of water, climb any bank or bluff, and head any direction you point his head. T is surefooted and not clumsy whatsoever. He is the definition of confident on the trail.

Not to be forgotten, T has the most pleasurable and extraordinary four beat saddle gait you could ask to sit.

He is soft on the bit and never gets in a hurry. Having said that, when you ask him to step up, he aims to please and will hold any speed you ask of him. He is also content enough to walk with his head dropped if that is more your speed.

Experience wise, this horse is well versed beyond belief. In the eight months he has been at our barn, we have ridden T over FIVE HUNDRED logged miles throughout the Great Smoky Mountains, the Daniel Boone Forest, Big South Fork, Mammoth Cave, and so many others.

He has been ridden in every state park and national forest within a three hour radius of my barn in my time owning him. We have ridden him with groups as large as thirty horses, to with one other horse, to also very many times going out alone on the trail. No matter the size of the group, he possesses the same attitude every time and will ride front, middle, or back of the pack.

In December 2022, I rode T in our town’s Christmas Parade which was featured on Great American Family network on television just before Christmas. There were more than three hundred entries in the parade and he was a perfect and calm example of how a horse should act.

T stands still to mount, tack up, and shoe for the farrier. He also stands quiet whether on the ground or on his back. You can lay the reins on his neck and he will stand like a gentleman in that position until you ask him to move or do otherwise. He loads and hauls well, crossties, and pickets. As mentioned above, I have had him turned out to pasture some, but have also had him stalled, and he is quiet and well behaved in the stall, as well.

T is branded on his left hip with the Rockin C brand from the family who raised him.
He is truly a seasoned, skilled, and extremely well trained gelding that is unlike any I have ever owned.

However, don’t just take my word for everything you have read above. I welcome you to visit us and check T out in person and it is with certainty I say that I am sure you will not want to leave without him.

Proxy Bidding:

Proxy bidding is an automatic bidding system that is great to use! Entering a proxy amount allows the system to automatically bid on your behalf. This keeps you from having to babysit the auction. It also protects your maximum bid by not displaying that amount until you are bid against. We advise entering your max bid especially if you will be away from your electronic device or in a poor service area at the end of the auction. To place a proxy, or automatic, bid simply enter the amount of your maximum bid into the Custom Bid box. This allows the system to automatically enter your next bid $100 above contending bidders until your maximum bid is met or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your maximum bid at any time without it displaying until you are bid against. If your maximum bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid.

Buy It Now:

If the bidding process is NOT for you, we offer a Buy It Now (BIN) option. This option allows you to purchase a horse immediately without waiting until the auction closes. The Buy It Now (BIN) option is available at the seller’s discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now option, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is selected, the auction will end immediately. At that time, the purchaser is responsible to make payment arrangements with Classic Horse Auction. You may either be invoiced or you may pay via credit card (a 4% processing fee will be added for all credit card transactions). The “Buy It Now” option will be removed prior to the close of the auction.

Final Minutes:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 5 minutes will be added to the clock. Time will extend for each new bid placed until 5 minutes has gone by with no new bids.

Technical Issues:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc.) within the last 10 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Hope Jenne (615-545-6488) within TEN MINUTES of the close of the auction.

Non Payment Fee:

Buyers are required to make payment by the close of business the following day. Purchasers who do not will be charged a $1,000 fee to the card on file. This also applies to purchasers using the Buy It Now option.

Still Need Help?:

Serving customers, both buyers and sellers, is our top priority. We want this to be a seamless process for everyone involved. Please reach out to us via text or call with any additional questions you might have.
